DIGITAL ELECTRONIC ENGINEER

Job Description

The ideal candidate  is able to design digital boards based on ARM/TI embedded systems on multilayers PCB layout for the development of the AC drives family. The ideal candidate will implement the new HW/logics interfaces (based both on microcontrollers and FPGAs), ensuring assigned targets and costs. He/She will works in a team composed by four persons.

Skills & Experience

• Msc degree in Electronic engineering with a minimum industry experience of three years;
• Fluent English;
• Proved experience in the circuit design/analysis as well as in FPGA design and relative toolset;
• Knowledge of modern AC drives with basilar embedded firmware code comprehension (specifically in DSP interfacing and communication). Ability to perform electronics test, design and debugging of the hardware. The knowledge of multi board products issues where  coexist analogue and digital units is a plus.
• Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing concepts (in particular Embedded ARM and TI architectures) and the main communication interfaces (SPI, I2C and USB).
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols - EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, OPC-UA, Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, etc is considered a plus.
• Firmware programming experience in C (TI/ARM devices) and knowledge of the bootstrap flow.
