The offered position is within the Projects Division. The Subcontractor Administrator refers to Site Manager and works in order to facilitate the development and negotiation of Sub contracts, managing the administration process and providing guidance on general contracts.
The Subcontract Administrator will:
be in charge of the administration of the Project subcontracts for all construction cost and contractual matters;
study all justifications given by the Subcontractors, for any extra work orders or claims requested;
coordinate and control the progress curves to be used for invoicing by the Subcontractors;
prepare the subcontracts status and progress reports;
supervise the filing of the various subcontracts and all related correspondence;
prepare the amendments to the subcontracts for Site Manager's approval and H.O Project Manager approval;
prepare the request of materials on site for approval by Site Manager;
prepare the liquidated damages applications;
initiate the Subcontractor performance evaluation document;
inform the Site Manager about any action, facts or decision which could be the base for a subcontractor's potential claim;
verify and initiate the final financial statement before presenting to the Site Manager for their review and technical approval;
follow-up Subcontractors claims and prepare claim defense strategy and documents and ascertain the systematic answer to any Subcontractor's correspondence claim wise orientated;
issue subcontract monthly report (SSMR);
review Subcontractor invoices for accuracy, approve and process Subcontractor invoices, maintain several Excel databases for purposes of tracking subcontractor invoices and other administrative duties such as modifications and close-outs to existing agreements, file maintenance, etc.
perform subcontract closeout activities and other responsibilities associated with this position as necessary;
approve the Subcontractor progress payment request.
